1st John 3:9.. No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him, and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.      The key word here is “practice”.   When we practice something we do it to get better at it or at least when we practice something we do it on purpose. So if we continue to partake in a known sin in our life, something that God calls sin and we know it but choos…e to do it anyway we need to take a good look at ourselves and see if we have allowed Jesus Christ to be our Savior and Lord. Remember Jesus tells us “go and sin no more”. (John 5:14).. turn away from our sins (acts 3:19).. He will give us the strength to turn but we have to want to turn first. Hebrews 10:26 “if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for our sins”.. which means we will pay the price for our sins in hell.
