Another thing the Lord shared with me, He took me to Acts 11:26. This is where the followers of Jesus Christ were first called Christians and they were called Christians by the world who saw Christ in them. In fact, most called them Christians to make fun of them. To the believers of Jesus Christ they just considered themselves believers and followers of Jesus. Later, the label “Christian” was adopted by the followers of Christ. The Lord told me that is where a lot of people make a mistake in thinking they are a Christian. It isn’t just sitting in a pew on Sunday or saying I believe in Jesus.. it is believing and following Jesus every day in your life. Don’t call yourself a Christian, let the world do that, but call yourself a follower of Christ. You will get a different view of yourself, which I believe, will help keep you from willingly giving into sin…  The next thing the Lord spoke to me about, was the saying by some confessing to be “Christians” when they say “Don’t Judge Me”.
